Philippe Guitelmann: Key post |
FRANCE/INTERNATIONAL. Leading beauty house Guerlain has appointed Philippe Guitelmann to head its global travel retail business.
He replaces Olivier Plagnol, who was Director Travel Retail Worldwide and who has been named Managing Director of Guerlain France, effective from 4 October.
Guerlain International Director Philippe Sode said: “Philippe has long experience in travel retail and has had key responsibilities in marketing and commercial fields. We are confident that Philippe will be a great asset for the company.”
He added: “I take this opportunity to thank Olivier and his team for giving travel retail a new momentum over the past three years.”
Guitelmann has held a number of senior roles in the industry. He was Regional Managing Director, Europe for Shiseido-owned NARS Cosmetics and previously spent 14 years at Parfums Christian Dior in the channel, where he was Regional Director, Asia Pacific.
