Guerlain’s Orchidée Impériale line blossoms anew with revamped Serum

Flower power: Guerlain’s new anti-ageing Serum

Guerlain has bolstered its high-end, anti-ageing Orchidée Impériale collection with an updated version of its Orchidée Impériale White Serum. In addition to the brand’s White Orchid Extract, the formula now features a new Imperial Orchid Molecular Extract (IOME)

The IOME combines three orchid species that act on all signs of ageing, and targets the six fundamental mechanisms of the skin’s longevity, according to Guerlain.

It is claimed to stimulate the longevity gene that is responsible for the synthesis of an anti-inflammatory protein; combat the spiral of immunoageing; preserve the original composition of the cell membrane; increase the regeneration potential of epidermal cells; reinforce DNA protection; and control the overproduction of melanin.

As a result, day by day young and active cells become more numerous, the brand maintains. The processes responsible for skin ageing are impeded, so that skin appears younger – and remains younger-looking – for longer.

Orchidée Impériale White Serum is presented in a white and silver flacon, packaged in a white and blue case.
