USA. Marketplace Development has opened a new Hickory Farms Holiday Market pop-up store at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport. This is said to be the first-ever US airport location for the American specialty foods company.
The pop-up store features a wide array of holiday gift boxes, bags and baskets featuring cheeses, meats and sweets as well as a vineyard selection.
The recently-opened venue is located before security, allowing travellers to and from the National Capital area as well as airport visitors to do their holiday shopping.
“We are happy that Hickory Farms selected Reagan National Airport as the locale for its first foray into the airport environment. The pre-security location allows passengers the opportunity to purchase a holiday gift before their flight. We feel it is a great addition to our retail mix during the holiday season,” said Chris Paolino of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority.
