HTDF partners with major beauty brands to open pop-up stores in Sanya

CHINA. Hainan Tourism Duty Free Shopping Complex (HTDF) in Sanya has recently opened several pop-up shops from top international beauty brands including Shu Uemura, Elizabeth Arden and Jo Malone. The pop-ups offer amazing experiences and exclusive gifts to customers, HTDF said.

Elizabeth Arden’s limited-time space, occupying a prime location inside the duty free complex, brings the allure of the White Tea range into focus. The shop is dressed in white and highlights the brand’s newly launched White Tea collection, which includes fragrances and body care products.

Anyone for tea? Elizabeth Arden invites consumers in to sample the White Tea line. They can also taste high-end milk tea brand Nayuki, which is hugely popular in China.

The featured lotions are powered by natural antioxidants extracted from white tea, and crafted with a luxurious, silky formula that helps unveil the natural beauty of the skin.

Visitors who try out White Tea products at the pop-up receive a complimentary Elizabeth Arden x Nayuki white tea drink. A special gift bag is being given to customers who spend CNY500 (US$70) or more on the White Tea collection.

The Sailor Moon-themed Shu Uemura pop-up on the fourth floor of the complex has proved a major hit among beauty lovers and Sailor Moon fans. The activation is designed to highlight the new Shu Uemura x Sailor Moon Eternal makeup collection.

Sailor Moon is a fictional Japanese superheroine and the main protagonist and title character of the Sailor Moon manga series written by Naoko Takeuchi.

The store is themed “In the name of the moon, I’ll punish you!” – Sailor Moon’s most famous catchphrase – but the sumptuous Shu Uemura activation is all about rewarding consumers

Visitors can receive a travel size Ultime8 Sublime Beauty Cleansing Oil with any purchase; a Shu Uemura x Sailor Moon Eternal keychain with any foundation purchase; or a Shu Uemura x Sailor Moon Eternal makeup pouch by purchasing any three products from the collection.

Jo Malone’s new activation features an elegant space that transports visitors to an English pear orchid on an autumn day. The star of the pop-up is the limited-edition English Pear & Freesia Collection. Customers can sample fragrances and body care products from the collection and receive exclusive gifts.
