Our regular feature, brought to you in association with Duty Free Global from Ireland, celebrates memorable scenes, moments, launches and campaigns related to the global aviation and travel retail sphere.

Today’s Image of the Day comes from Mondelez WTR Vice President & Managing Director Joost Rosmuller, who shared a thoughtful reflection on LinkedIn to mark Pride Month (1-30 June).
“Pride isn’t something I observe from a distance. It’s personal,” he wrote, “It’s at my dinner table, in the people I love most.
Speaking from his own experience as a father, Roosmuller reflected on the importance of creating supportive and welcoming environments for the LGBTQIA+ community in travel retail.
“When I say that creating a space where people feel safe to be themselves matters, I don’t mean it as a leadership talking point. I mean it as a father. And as someone who knows what it looks like when the people you love can show up fully as who they are,” he said.
“Since joining the world of travel retail, I’ve seen this truth play out at work too,” he added. “The most creative, most energised teams Ive been part of are the ones where nobody has to hide. Where difference isn’t managed, it’s what makes us good.”
He concluded by saying: “Be you. Fully. The world is better for it.”
Rosmuller’s words offer a timely reminder that allyship is not simply simply a box to be ticked.
His message reinforces a simple but powerful truth: when people are free to be themselves, the world becomes a better place. ✈
