Press paws: A Moment to Purr invites passengers to pause, play and interact with a giant, lifelike sleeping cat in Arrivals Hall A

HONG KONG, CHINA. Today’s selection of images comes from Hong Kong International Airport (@hongkongairport), where a playful Easter programme is delighting travellers with interactive games, live performances and a paw-sitively charming installation.

A Moment to Purr, a giant interactive cat installation in Arrivals Hall A, is the heart of the campaign. Travellers can feed and interact with the colossal sleeping feline via a dedicated kiosk, triggering responsive, lifelike reactions in real time.

From 5-8 April, travellers were able to take photos of the over-sized cat and instantly print a paw-some personalised souvenir to bring home during the Easter holidays.

The installation is complemented by a series of timed Easter activations across Terminal 1.

Spring Serenade offered live harmonica and piano performances from 2-4 April, while Bunny Bounce: Easter Dance Delight featured themed dance performances and brought festive energy to the airport.

Travellers can feed, pet or play with the cat via an interactive digital screen

A Moment to Purr, unveiled on 3 April and running until 2 May, sits at the heart of a thoughtfully curated Easter programme, where meaningful interaction, performance and storytelling come together to delight travellers during the peak seasonal travel period.
