Macduff International’s Islay Mist Deluxe has been awarded a gold medal at the International Spirits Challenge 2016 awards.
The ISC medal follows a series of awards for Islay Mist, including recommendations from Whisky Magazine, Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible, World Whiskies Awards and further medals from IWSC and the Beverage Testing Institute.
Islay Mist Deluxe is made with a single malt from Laphroaig distillery blended with lighter, smooth malts and grains.
“We will continue to collaborate with Changi Airport Group to strengthen customer experience programmes such as the WOWS (World of Wines and Spirits) event to differentiate our liquor operations and customer experiences,” says Lotte Duty Free CEO Kim Dong-ha.
The renewed contract covers 18 stores and more than 8,600sq m of space across the airport’s four terminals.
Over the past year, Changi Airport has expanded its retail offering with 180 new leases, including nearly 40 first-to-airport brands, reinforcing its status as one of the leading global retail destinations.
