Itsu returns to London Heathrow Terminal 5 with bespoke offering

Custom catering: A bespoke range of products will be suitable for onboard dining

UK. Asian-inspired chain Itsu is to return to London Heathrow Terminal 5 this summer with a new store opening.

It will be located in the departure lounge and offers a view of the airfield. A ‘butterflies in flight’ installation, created in partnership with Cinimod, will complement the new outlet.

The store’s offering includes new packaging designs and a range of bespoke products exclusive to the T5 store which are suitable for onboard dining.

Heathrow Head of Food and Beverage Ben Crowley said: “When Itsu left the airport passengers and staff alike kept asking when it would return so we’re all thrilled. It’ll be like welcoming back a dearly-loved friend.”

Itsu Director of Development Said Takhamt commented: “Opening the new store in T5 is a really exciting step for us. The site is beautiful and we think guests are going to love the new product and packaging designs. Whether you want to sit down for a bite to eat before flying or grab food for your flight, we feel we’ve created something really special, just for Heathrow.”
