French luxury house Chanel has appointed Jacob Elordi as the new ambassador for the Bleu de Chanel masculine fragrance pillar.
The first campaign starring the Australian actor will roll out in May across the entirety of Chanel’s travel retail network.
The appointment reflects the brand’s ongoing strategy to align its fragrance storytelling with influential cultural figures who resonate with younger luxury consumers while reinforcing Chanel’s heritage codes.
Elordi gained international recognition for his role as Nate Jacobs in the HBO series Euphoria. He has since built a diverse filmography, including appearances in Saltburn (directed by Emerald Fennell), Priscilla (directed by Sofia Coppola) and Frankenstein by Guillermo del Toro, a role that earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor.
He recently appeared as Heathcliff in Emerald Fennell’s reimagining of Wuthering Heights, alongside Margot Robbie. The pair previously collaborated on See You at 5 (2024), a film by Luca Guadagnino created for the global campaign of Chanel N°5.

Chanel Head of Global Creative Resources, Fragrance & Beauty Thomas du Pré de Saint Maur commented: “I have been following Jacob Elordi’s career for several years, since Euphoria. I first met him on the set of the See You at 5 film for N°5, in which he stars alongside Margot Robbie, and it was a revelation.
“He perfectly embodies Bleu de Chanel: expressing freedom, mystery, magnetism and a masculinity that blends modernity with a certain classic elegance.”
Commenting on his appointment, Elordi said: “Bleu de Chanel has strong ties to cinema. The filmmakers and actors who have collaborated with the House before me are people I deeply respect and admire. Being able to become part of this story is an honour.” ✈
