JCDecaux boosts Estée Lauder’s profile at Hong Kong International Airport using new multimedia network – 23/09/09

HONG KONG. Outdoor media specialist JCDecaux Transport has explained how cosmetics giant Estée Lauder recently took advantage of its multimedia advertising network at Hong Kong International Airport to promote its new Advanced Night Repair campaign.

“Estée Lauder maximised its advertising campaign impact by utilising giant exterior billboards, a multimedia wall, several wall-mounted lightboxes and digital panels, complete with Bluetooth technology throughout the airport, said JCDecaux Transport.

Commenting on the initiative, Estée Lauder Regional Marketing Manager Kay Shuyin said: “The extensive network coverage at Hong Kong International Airport provides Estée Lauder with an effective advertising platform to reach on-the-go target audiences.”

The Estée Lauder campaign marked the roll-out of the Bluetooth network at the Luxury Brand Boutique Boulevard at the East Hall Terminal 1.

The Bluetooth download allows passengers to link directly to the airport advertising via a mobile device, heightening their engagement with the campaign, said JCDecaux Transport.

“It is yet another innovate media format that can be extended to create impactful advertising campaigns. The network delivers effective reach to build awareness, bring advertising messages to life, engage with passengers, ultimately creating purchase interest and driving prospects to points of purchase,” the advertising specialist added.

“JCDecaux Transport is dedicated to creating bespoke outdoor solutions tailored to achieving our client’s advertising objectives. Estée Lauder choosing special and innovative media like the multimedia wall, digital panel and exterior billboards is a brilliant example of impactful airport advertising,” said JCDecaux Transport General Manager – Hong Kong & Macau Shirley Chan.
