JCDecaux launches Christmas tree campaign at Macau Airport

MACAU. JCDecaux has launched a Christmas tree sponsorship campaign at Macau International Airport, with three brands engaging passengers through both physical and digital media.

Bank of China, resort operator Galaxy and telecoms company CTM have sponsored trees in the Departures check-in hall and duty free area as well as the Arrivals greeting hall.

Departing, transiting and arriving passengers can participate in a photo contest and win prizes by simply reading QR codes, creating e-cards and sharing them on Facebook and Instagram.

The sponsorship package also features tailor-made decorations and other placements on other advertising media including a digital TV wall, giant ceiling banners and lightboxes.

JCDecaux Transport Hong Kong and Macau General Manager Shirley Chan said: “The sponsorship is an outstanding advertising offer specially conceived for the 2014 festive season with the view to enhancing the airport environment. It allows our clients to deliver their advertising message with creativity and interactivity, thus maximising the impact of their campaign displayed on traditional media.”

JCDecaux Transport has upgraded advertising sites at Macau Airport to strengthen its digital offer. The latest digital media is a new digital TV wall in the Departures duty free area with a 3.84m x 2.3m screen. The company has also reinforced the impact of its Arrivals curbside taxi media with additional lightboxes

“The series of lightboxes offer brands effective exposure among high-profile passengers with luxury shopping in mind just before they head off to the city to enjoy Macau’s world-class travel experiences,” JCDecaux said.
