UAE. Italian jewellery brand Damiani has made its debut with Dubai Duty Free, opening its first unit at Dubai International Terminal 3, Concourse B.
The brand, which was founded in 1924, opened during the Eid al-Fitr festival on 14 June “as a tribute to local traditions and culture in the UAE”.
The Damiani range includes Belle Époque, D. Icon, D. Side, Eden and Spicchi di Luna, which are showcased in a sequence of displays and counters.
The brand owner noted: “This opening further strengthens Damiani’s international expansion strategy, in particular in the travel retail sector. Damiani is already present at Milan Malpensa, Fiumicino, Beijing and Moscow airports but its goal is to be positioned in the busiest luxury-tourism airport hubs that also serve business travellers.”
