La Mer illuminates its treatment portfolio with new Brightening Facial

La Mer has extended its Blanc de la Mer Brightening Collection with a new Brightening Facial treatment. It is being introduced to selected La Mer travel retail locations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas from this month.

The two-part treatment is said to gently but effectively target the look of dark sports and discoloration, while immediately boosting radiance and hydration. Developed for, and tested on, Asian skin, it delivers a powerful whitening action without drying, the brand maintains.

Step one involves the La Mer Infusion Primer, which features the brand’s signature Miracle Brothâ„¢. This should be patted over a clean face and neck. It is said to calm, soothe and prep the skin.

Step two of the Brightening Facial is the application of the pure cotton masks (there are Upper and Lower Zone masks for the top and bottom of the face). Each mask is infused with over one full bottle of La Mer’s Whitening Essence, which contains the VibraWhite Fermentâ„¢. This is claimed to counter existing spots, help even skin tone and protect against future hyper-pigmentation. Pores are visibly diminished and skin looks clear, youthful, more lifted and toned, according to the brand.

The Brightening Facial comprises six separate treatments. The recommended domestic price point is £190.
