The Lifting Eye Serum claims to provide a “young, fresh, more revitalised” appearance |
La Mer has unveiled The Lifting Eye Serum, a product that combines red-algae technology and other sea-based ingredients. It will be on-shelf from March in La Mer travel retail locations worldwide.
Said to help strengthen, repair and uplift the look of the eye area, the serum features a stretch matrix complex, the uplifting ferment and the brand’s Miracle Broth.
Engineered with a network of naturally derived ingredients and red algae, the stretch matrix complex claims to self-assemble an interlaced elastic net to help give the eye area a more lifted and contoured appearance. Combined with kelp gel, a natural lifting polymer, the serum claims to give an immediately tighter sense to eye contours.
The Uplifting Ferment combines perennial brown algae, blue algae and marine peptides which are said to help strengthen the barrier and smooth skin around the eyes, while Miracle Broth works to boost natural cellular activity.
According to La Mer, The Lifting Eye Serum is designed for layering underneath existing eye treatments and should be applied daily with the specially engineered applicator to help increase microcirculation.
