Lagardère Travel Retail CEO North Asia Eudes Fabre leaves group to pursue new opportunities

Eudes Fabre: Major contribution to Lagardère Travel Retail’s growth in the China market

ASIA PACIFIC. Eudes Fabre, the highly respected Lagardère Travel Retail CEO for North Asia, has left the company effective 10 March to pursue new opportunities. A new regional CEO will be named soon.

In an 18-year career with the group he helped to build its China business from a fledgling operation in 2007 to one with a wide footprint across 30 airports today, along with a growing rail presence in China and partnerships in the Hainan Island offshore duty free channel.

Fabre was initially Business Development Manager for the region, then General Manager, before becoming CEO North Asia in 2016.

Until a new appointment is made, Asia Chief Operating Officer and Group Chief Strategy and Development Officer Séverine Lanthier will take on responsibility for North Asia, with support from CEO Singapore & Malaysia Ann Pang. Pang has been working with the North Asia team since September last year.

In a note to business partners, Lanthier said: “I warmly thank Eudes for his journey at Lagardère Travel Retail and wish him well on his new ventures.” ✈

In the latest edition of The Moodie Davitt Magazine, Eudes Fabre talked about key Lagardère Travel Retail projects in the Chinese airport, rail and offshore duty free channels. See page 30. Click on the cover for access.
