Lagardère Travel Retail rolls out street food-inspired concept at Warsaw Chopin Airport

Lagardère Travel Retail enhances Chopin Airport’s eclectic dining mix with this new street food-inspired restaurant

POLAND. Lagardère Travel Retail has unveiled street food-inspired concept Bistro Okienko at Warsaw Chopin Airport.

Located in the Non-Schengen zone, the new dining offer is designed to bring travellers “culinary sentiments with a modern approach to street food”.

The restaurant, an original concept by Lagardère Travel Retail, blends nostalgic elements and modern-day approaches, reflected in both its design and menu.

The restaurant’s design evokes the charm of old windows which became popular for serving casseroles and sausage rolls.

The menu offers simple and traditional comfort food such as casseroles and hot dogs, with modern twists and creative toppings.

The innovative compact design enables the restaurant to provide fast service with high-quality food.

Lagardère Travel Retail said it previously introduced similar dining formats at Chopin Airport and noted its plans to open more of this kind of dining concept in the future.

The opening forms part of the company’s wide-ranging plans to expand its food & beverage portfolio, with more projects to be revealed in coming months. ‍
