L’Oréal celebrates success of Grand Hotel fragrances activation at Doha International

QATAR. L’Oréal Travel Retail is celebrating the success of its Grand Hotel at Doha International Airport as the activation enters its final week.

The L’Oréal Grand Hotel has taken over a prime position at Doha International Airport.

Launched at the end of July, the installation welcomes customers at a “concierge desk” where they are offered fresh drinks. They are then invited to explore the podium, which offers fragrances from five of the group’s leading brands: Lancôme; Yves Saint Laurent; Giorgio Armani/Privé Haute Couture Fragrances; Ralph Lauren; and Maison Margiela.

The activation features a photobooth where visitors can take souvenir pictures and share with friends via email or social platforms.

A “concierge desk” greets travellers as they arrive, where they are offered a refreshment and invited to explore the space.

Once they have chosen their purchase, customers are offered special gifts including luggage tags and miniature luxury fragrances.

L’Oréal Travel Retail said the Grand Hotel aimed to allow travellers to “live a memorable customer experience and enjoy a very unique journey in a marvellous luxury hotel.”

The company added: “The Grand Hotel is a perfect illustration of retailtainment that provides travellers a premium customer experience.”

Fragrances by five brands are showcased at the Grand Hotel: Lancôme; Yves Saint Laurent; Giorgio Armani/Privé Haute Couture Fragrances; Ralph Lauren; and Maison Margiela.
The activation has been designed to offer a luxury hotel experience. This is reflected in all elements of the design, from luggage trolley displays to a wall of keys behind the concierge desk.
