MAC goes Gaga once again for 2011 Viva Glam Campaign

Viva Glam Gaga 2 is on-counter now in travel retail

US. MAC Cosmetics has introduced a new limited-edition Viva Glam Lipstick and Lipglass gloss, fronted by Lady Gaga. Both products began rolling out in travel retail worldwide earlier this month.

The pop diva was unveiled as the face of Mac’s Viva Glam “From our Lips” Campaign in 2010. The original Viva Glam Gaga was a light blue pink shade. The new lipstick is a light warm beige, complemented by a neutral, pinky-beige gloss. Every cent of each Viva Glam product sale is donated to the MAC AIDS Fund.

To support the launch, MAC has created an exclusive Viva Glam site, www.vivaglam.com, featuring videos and messages from Lady Gaga.

On 17 March the site will become an interactive global network where Viva Glam Gaga fans can upload their photos, share HIV/AIDS information and interact with their friends via Facebook and Twitter.

Participants can also take part in a special fashion collaboration with Lady Gaga and her stylist, of which more details will be revealed in the coming months.
