GERMANY. Wiesbaden-based sparkling wine specialist Henkell has revealed an Impulse Podium and Tasting activation at Hamburg Airport with Gebr. Heinemann. It features a selection of the brand’s wines including the Henkell 5-Pack and travel retail-exclusive Brut Vintage.
The pop-up, located at Plaza Shop 2328 of the Gebr. Heinemann Duty Free & Travel Value Shop, is in place throughout July and August. Travellers can take part in a tasting session for Henkell Rosé and Henkell Brut Vintage each Thursday to Sunday (9am to 6pm) at the podium.
Henkell Freixenet Senior Vice President Sandra Janetzki said, “We are expecting a good summer season in travel retail. With this activation our approach is to offer consumers the opportunity to taste an exclusive product that is not available in the domestic market. At the same time, we are eager to offer a nice experience during their time at the airport.” ✈
