Martell serves up exclusive gourmet experience in Asian travel retail

The Martell gourmet experience was developed by the Cellar Master Benoît Fil and the Chefs of the Château de Chanteloup

Martell is offering travellers at Hong Kong International Airport, Macau International Airport and Singapore Changi Airport an exclusive gourmet experience which centres on food pairings for its various cognac products.

Inspired by the Martell Pure Gourmet philosophy and tasting notes, the programme – which will run until 31 October – was developed by the cognac house’s Cellar Master Benoît Fil and the Chefs of the Château de Chanteloup, the Martell guesthouse.

For the Hong Kong and Macau international airports, Martell has teamed up with La Maison du Chocolat, led by Master Chef Nicolas Cloiseau, to select four ganaches to complement each of the following cognacs: Martell Chanteloup Perspective, Martell Création, Martell Millésime 1968 and L’Or de Jean Martell.

In line with this gourmet experience, customers who purchase Martell will receive a box of chocolates.

At Singapore Changi Airport, Martell has partnered with Stellar at 1-Altitude, the restaurant and bar located on the 62nd and 63rd floors of One Raffles Place which boasts 360-degree views of Singapore.

Travellers at Changi who purchase Martell cognacs can visit 1-Altitude to enjoy a complimentary Martell cocktail. Martell buyers can also enter into a competition to win an exclusive dinner for two, specially crafted by Stellar’s chef and created to match Martell Cordon Bleu cognac.

On top of the gourmet experience, HKIA travellers have the additional opportunity to visit the newly opened Martell brand space offering limited-edition products and exclusive services for Martell enthusiasts.

Travellers are taken on a sensory journey featuring four different sets of aromas, created by scent designers based on Martell Cordon Bleu, Martell XO, Martell Chanteloup Perspective and Martell Création Grand Extra.

A personalised engraving service is available with every bottle purchase of L’Or de Jean Martell, on top of a gifting service tailored to each Martell cognac.

The Martell brand space also showcases the limited-edition Millésime Collection, a collection of the best and the rarest “˜cognacs millésimes’ selected by Martell Cellar Master Benoît Fil.
