Mika will be the headline attraction at Le Premium Evening |
INTERNATIONAL. TFWA has announced that international artist Mika will perform at a private concert exclusively for the TFWA World Exhibition in October.
The star will be the headline attraction at Le Premium Evening, the finale to the week-long duty free and travel retail show, in the Grand Auditorium of the Palais des Festivals in Cannes on 21 October.
The evening will begin with a dinner cocktail at the Riviera Beach marquee adjacent to the Palais and will end there in TFWA’s private club The Scene with cocktails and dancing.
The Scene will also provide a relaxed informal setting for delegates to socialise and network after hours on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 10pm to 2am and on Thursday from 11pm to 2am.
The Scene Restaurant at this Riviera Beach venue will be open from Monday to Thursday for lunch between 12pm and 2.30pm. Alternatively exhibition participants might choose the Bay Restaurant next to Bay Village.
Delegates to TFWA World Exhibition are presented with a selection of business networking opportunities throughout the week. Starting on Sunday 17 October, activities include golf at the Mandelieu Golf Club (sponsored by Gebr Heinemann and Hugo Boss), tennis at the Club Sportif de Montfleury (sponsored by Ajmal), petanque on the Place de l’Etang, jogging or hiking on the Ile Sainte-Marguerite which are new this year, and a cookery class at Les Apprentis Gourmets.
Sunday will be rounded off with an opening cocktail at the Carlton Hotel topped off by a fireworks display courtesy of the City of Cannes.
