Dutch jewellery and fashion brand My Jewellery is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a special Icon Collection, rolling out across its travel retail network over the coming year.

Founded by Sharon Hilgers in 2011, My Jewellery has grown from a small creative venture in ’s-Hertogenbosch, in Southern Netherlands, into an international business. The company has more than 1,000 employees, 65 boutiques across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France, and over 650 premium retail partners across Europe.

My Jewellery Founder Sharon Hilgers said she created the brand back in 2011 armed with nothing but “passion, power and a drive to build something meaningful”

The Icon Collection celebrates the signature styles and brand identity developed by My Jewellery over the past 15 years.

The range brings the anniversary story to life for travelling consumers, allowing them to discover and purchase pieces that reflect My Jewellery’s 15-year journey.

It will roll out across My Jewellery’s directly operated stores and partner-operated locations in the channel.

My Jewellery Head of Business Development Thom Timmer commented, “As My Jewellery celebrates its 15th anniversary, we are proud to reflect on our journey from a small passion project into an international brand.

“This milestone also marks the beginning of our next phase, in which travel retail will play a strategic role in introducing My Jewellery to new audiences across airports, airlines and cruise.”

My Jewellery expanded its presence at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol in December with a second boutique in Lounge 1

Commenting on the anniversary milestone, Hilgers said: “I started My Jewellery with nothing but passion, power and a drive to build something meaningful. Building this company from the ground up and watching it grow into an international brand has been a dream come true.”

In a recent interview with The Moodie Davitt Report, My Jewellery Head of Business Development Thom Timmer talked about the brand’s values, travel retail ambitions and growing appeal among younger consumers. Click here for the full interview.
