Nuance joint venture reveals new-look retail offer at Varna Airport

BULGARIA. Nuance BG AD, a joint venture between Nuance and Bulgarian Airways Group, has revealed its new-look retail offer at Varna Airport. The concessions are expected to deliver €180 million in sales over the five year term.

The concession includes both core categories and speciality shops in 790sq m of retail space, including a walk-through store, an arrivals store, a gate shop plus speciality stores. The concepts include Temptation – Nuance’s store for fashion watches and jewellery; Atelier – Nuance’s multi-brand women’s leather accessories store focusing on premium brands; Sun Catcher – Nuance’s store for premium eyewear, in addition to stores for confectionery and toys.

The stores have been designed to incorporate elements of Bulgarian architecture and nature, such as the sunflower, which is grown in fields in the Varna region, and provides a Sense of Place.

Located by the Black Sea, Varna is a tourist destination welcoming over 1.2 million passengers each year. The airport is managed by Fraport Twin Star Airport Management.
