Nuance names Andreas Rudolf as Chief Financial Officer

Andreas Rudolf takes over as Chief Financial Officer in early January


SWITZERLAND. The Nuance Group has named Andreas Rudolf as Group Chief Financial Officer. Rudolf, who will join the company in early January, takes over from Christopher Wood, who will step down at the end of November and leave Nuance to pursue other interests.

With almost two decades of finance experience, Rudolf joins Nuance from EGL, one of Europe’s leading energy-trading companies, where he held the position of CFO, responsible for the company’s Finance & Operations division. Prior to EGL, Rudolf spent ten years at the Siemens Group, where his roles included Head of Group Finance and Controlling (Siemens Building Technologies) and Head of Finance and Accounting (Siemens Switzerland).

He began his professional career as an auditor and consultant with Coopers & Lybrand, and holds a doctoral thesis from the University of Basel, as well as a Degree in Business Administration from the University of Zurich.

Commenting on the appointment, The Nuance Group President & CEO Roberto Graziani said: “Andreas has an impressive track record, having worked within a number of highly competitive industries. It is this range and depth of experience which will further strengthen and support the Group’s plans, and will prove valuable to our business going forward.
