HONG KONG. Nuance-Watson Hong Kong and The Peninsula Hong Kong jointly announced today the opening of The Peninsula Boutique at Hong Kong International Airport to retail fine foods, including The Peninsula Chocolatier products, The Peninsula Tea and other signature items from the famed Hong Kong landmark of hospitality.
The Peninsula’s products have been available in various retail outlets operated by Nuance-Watson (HK) Ltd since 1998. “The opening of this free-standing independent shop demonstrates the world’s largest duty free chain’s confidence in the brand’s strength as a reliable retail provider of high quality fine foods and gifts,” said Nuance-Watson (HK).
Located on Level 6, East Hall airside, the shop was designed under The Peninsula Boutique’s signature interior design concept created by Brennan Beer Gorman Monk / Interiors (New York, USA) and executed in Hong Kong by Metro Design Firm (HK).
In a related development, Nuance-Watson (HK) and Bvlgari today officially unveiled the relocated Bvlgari boutique in the heart of the new luxury merchandise area in the East Hall of Hong Kong International Airport.
The move follows the redesign and re-configuration of HKIA’s East Hall and opens up an exciting new dimension in shopping pleasure for the world’s most discerning travellers.
The new boutique has now a larger display area of 71 square metres and is characterised by Bvlgari’s typical curved, smooth design using precious marble and exclusive pear wood. The range of products on offer includes a wide selection of watches, jewels and accessories and all new successful collections introduced in travel retail.
Bvlgari and Nuance-Watson (HK) have enjoyed a long working relationship which dates back to the opening of the new airport in July 1998. “The new Bvlgari boutique provides an excellent example of both companies’ commitment to surpassing travellers’ expectations in shopping enjoyment,” said Nuance-Watson (HK).
