Origins extends A Perfect World with new BB Cream |
Origins has entered the burgeoning BB (Beauty Balm) sector with the introduction of A Perfect World BB SPF 15 Age-Defense Tinted Moisturizer with White Tea. The product is rolling out this month into the brand’s travel retail locations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The treatment is said to offer perfecting coverage with skin care benefits. It perfects, protects and hydrates in one lightweight formulation, according to Origins.
Origins Global Scientist of Plant Physiology and Molecular Biology Dr Lieve Declercq commented: “Origins’ first BB Cream is an exciting addition to the A Perfect Worldâ„¢ collection. For the first time in the brand’s history, Origins is able to offer multiple visible results via a single, performance-focused formulation.
“Responsible for minimising pores and providing valuable age-preventing protection along with natural-looking coverage, this single product offers both immediate and long-term benefits.”
The BB formulation features antioxidant-rich Silver Tip White Tea, widely known as an effective way to boost skin’s defences against the damaging effects of pollution and other environmental aggressors, while the SPF 15 helps protect against sun damage and UV exposure.
Trehalose delivers lightweight, long-lasting moisturisation, and mineral pigments help to mask imperfections with a sheer tint of coverage. The formula is scented with an essential oil blend of lemon, sweet orange, bergamot and spearmint.
According to Origins, in a recent clinical study the BB Cream was proven to immediately reduce the appearance of pores; immediately reduce the appearance of fine lines; hydrate skin; boost skin’s radiance, immediately and over time; and remain colour-true and long-wearing.
