Paris Charles de Gaulle meets the Mediterranean as Dolce & Gabbana and Extime unveil hybrid pop-up

The Dolce & Gabbana activation transforms Paris Charles de Gaulle into a Mediterranean-inspired escape, drawing on the fashion house’s signature Verde Maiolica motif and Capri’s sunny landscapes

FRANCE. Italian luxury house Dolce & Gabbana has partnered with Extime Duty Free (the joint venture between Lagardère Travel Retail and Groupe ADP) to unveil its first cross-category beauty and eyewear pop-up at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. It is currently running in Terminal 2E.

The activation showcases Light Blue Capri In Love Eau de Parfum and travel retail-exclusive (TREX) Light Blue Capri In Love Pour Homme Eau de Parfum, alongside a curated selection of eyewear.

Inspired by the landscapes and spirit of Capri, the pop-up features the brand’s signature Verde Maiolica motif (a vibrant, green-and-white design motif inspired by traditional Italian majolica ceramics). It brings together bright-white and deep-green hues to evoke the island’s sunny scenery and relaxed coastal lifestyle.

At the centre of the activation is the Light Blue fragrance collection, complemented by the debut of the special-edition Capri in Love sunglasses. Presented for the first time in travel retail, the eyewear reinterprets one of Dolce & Gabbana’s most recognisable silhouettes through the Blu Mediterraneo motif.

The sunglasses feature oversized square acetate frames paired with gradient blue lenses, while a ‘Capri in Love’ signature screen print on the inner temple reinforces the collection’s distinctive identity.

The eyewear offer is further enhanced by pieces from the new Devotion Collection. The range incorporates the brand’s signature Sacred Heart motif as a decorative design element across selected styles.

The experience also features a series of retailtainment elements designed to immerse travellers in the Dolce & Gabbana summer narrative. Highlights include an immersive photo booth set against a backdrop inspired by Capri’s famous Faraglioni rock formations, alongside a multi-sensorial fragrance discovery experience.

Dedicated gifts complete the journey, extending the emotional connection with the brand beyond departure.
