UAE. Herefordshire-based Penrhos Spirits has launched at Dubai International Airport, marking the brand’s first travel retail listing outside the UK.
The sustainable, farm-to-bottle gin brand’s London Dry and Apple & Elderflower variants are now available through Dubai Duty Free.
In 2023, Penrhos Spirits switched to 100% recycled aluminium bottles. The packaging is designed with a spirits-safe lining, weighing only 80g compared to 750g for glass.
According to the brand, the lightweight material addresses weight-related challenges across the aviation supply chain. The aluminium format reduces fuel burn, lowers transport emissions, improves shelf efficiency and eliminates the risk of breakages associated with glass packaging.
The bottles were independently verified to reduce the brand’s packaging carbon footprint by 91%.
Penrhos gin reduces food waste reduction by repurposing ‘imperfectly perfect’ fruit (fruit rejected by supermarkets) from the family farm into premium spirits.

Alongside its Middle Eastern debut, Penrhos continues to expand its UK travel retail footprint. As reported, the brand’s 70cl formats are available at London Luton and London City airports with Lagardère Travel Retail. The brand’s 5cl miniatures and gift packs are available at Heathrow Airport with World Duty Free (Avolta).
In addition, Penrhos has launched with DFDS Ferries, further strengthening its presence across different travel retail channels.
The Dubai Duty Free listing follows Penrhos’s ongoing partnership with Vintage International as its regional distribution partner. To support the Dubai Duty Free launch, brand ambassadors from Vintage International will be deployed in-store to introduce the range to passengers, with a larger branded activation planned for the first half of 2026.
