Qatar Duty Free strengthens luxury offer as second Dior boutique opens

QATAR. Qatar Duty Free opened the second Dior boutique at Hamad International Airport on 1 April, marking a further extension of the travel retailer’s impressive luxury offer.

The 175sq m boutique is next to the famous Lamp Bear sculpture by Swiss artist Urs Fischer (a 23-foot canary-yellow teddy bear sculpted from bronze that sits inside a lamp) in the heart of the airport, a prime location in a high-traffic and high-visibility area.

The store features the atelier’s signature store concept, with a striking exterior, double-height façade and eye-catching lightboxes.

The boutique opening marks the first of two openings with Dior at the airport in 2024 – anticipation is building for the launch of the Dior Spa concept in May.

Qatar Duty Free said: “With the new boutique strengthening the brand’s offer in women’s ready-to-wear, accessories, shoes, leathergoods and jewellery, and Dior Spa set to deliver a transformative beauty experience, shoppers at the airport will be able to enjoy an unrivalled brand experience with one of the true icons of luxury.”
