Sanya Phoenix Airport issues VIP terminal retail and F&B tender

CHINA. Sanya Phoenix International Airport on Hainan Island has issued a tender for retail and food & beverage concessions at its VIP Terminal.

A tender notice published in The Moodie Report China October – online shortly – details the opportunity, which includes 214sq m of duty paid retail space. The airport is looking to introduce a range of international luxury brands and brands may apply for part of the retail space.

Also available is 1,900sq m of F&B space and a 160sq m bar.

Many of the passengers passing through the terminal are Chinese and international high net worth individuals

Opened in January 2012, Sanya Phoenix Airport’s VIP Terminal is said to be Asia’s largest single building terminal dedicated to VIPs and features 61 balconies over three floors covering 12,000sq m.

The majority of passengers are Chinese and international high net worth individuals, VIP visitors, heads of state and dignitaries. The terminal offers high-end luxury shopping, dining, entertainment, art exhibitions, clubs and tailored business services.
