New Café Crème Finos variants are to be introduced at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes |
SCANDINAVIA. Scandinavian Tobacco Group, manufacturers of cigar, pipe and fine cut tobacco, will launch a number of new products at this year’s TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes.
Having identified global trends for both smaller and aromatic cigars, the group is introducing Café Crème Filter & Flavour, a new cigarillo, and two new flavours in the Café Crème Flavours range. The group will also roll out its Café Crème Finos with three variants.
Café Crème Filter & Flavour will be available in three flavour combinations. With a built-in filter, the range is made from a blend of fine tobaccos from Asia, Africa and Brazil wrapped in a blond Ecuadorian leaf.
“Both wrapper and tobacco are enriched with subtle natural flavours that leave a pleasant sweet and creamy taste in the mouth,” said the group.
The Café Crème Filter & Flavour range will be packaged in a new-generation portrait-sized tin with a flip lid featuring a new design with a colour swirl, which will vary according to the flavour.
The three Café Crème Finos line extensions that will be introduced at Cannes are the Yellow, Blue and Arôme variants, while the two new Flavours in the Café Crème aromatic line are French Vanilla and Italian Macchiato.

In addition to the Café Crème introductions, M, a new flavoured cigarillo, will also be launched. “We are delighted to present so many new products at this year’s TFWA in Cannes,” said Scandinavian Tobacco Group Senior Vice President of Marketing Lars Toft Wassberg.
“As Café Crème continues to grow in all markets and remains the best-selling cigarillo in duty free, we believe the new products will enable us to strengthen our position as one of the world leaders in cigarillos, while increasing our market share in the aromatic segment.”
The Group’s key brands, including Henri Wintermans Founders Blend, Colts, Café Crème, and CAO cigars, as well as Clan, Erinmore and WØ Larsen pipe tobacco, and Tiedemans Roll Your Own tobacco will be featured in Cannes. Scandinavian Tobacco Group will be located on Stand D10 in the Blue Village (Zone 2, Level -1).
