SOUTH KOREA. Shinsegae Duty Free has expanded its food offering with speciality seaweed brand Manjun Gim at its Myeong-dong and Incheon International Airport departures stores.
Founded in Seoul’s Jungbu Market in 1979 as Manjun Trade, the brand has grown its seaweed expertise over more than four decades, from raw material selection through to processing technology.

The brand’s domestic footprint grew through outlets in major department store food halls, alongside an international presence spanning more than 45 countries.
The Shinsegae Duty Free listing features a selection of Manjun Gim’s savoury flavours, including Gopchang, Flame-Roasted, Truffle and Organic.

The addition builds on the retailer’s already strong K-food selection, joining seaweed snack brands such as Dongwon F&B, known for its seasoned laver variants, alongside HBAF’s best-selling flavoured nuts and snack range.
A Shinsegae Duty Free representative said: “Manjun Gim, which is loved around the world, can now be conveniently purchased right before departure. We expect high interest from customers looking for premium food products to commemorate their trip to Korea or to give as gifts to family and acquaintances.” ✈
