Shiseido Travel Retail brings designer fragrance trio to Singapore

Shiseido Travel Retail will showcase new fragrances from Dolce & Gabbana, Narciso Rodriguez and Issey Miyake at the TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition (stand B20).

Dolce & Gabbana Beauty has reinvented its two cult fragrances with the introduction of Light Blue Eau Intense and Light Blue Eau Intense Pour Homme.

Light Blue Eau Intense, created by Olivier Cresp, opens with lemon and Granny Smith apple. The heart features marigold and jasmine and the base blends amber woods and musks.

Light Blue Eau Intense Pour Homme was created by Alberto Morillas. Top notes of mandarin and frozen grapefruit provide a citrus twist while juniper combines with a salty, aquatic accord at the heart. Amber woods wrapped in musks feature at the base.

Light Blue Eau Intense is available in 25ml, 50ml and 100ml and the masculine version comes in 50ml, 100ml and 200ml. They will launch in travel retail from May.

Both fragrances are presented in frosted-glass bottles in a blue colour reminiscent of the Mediterranean Sea. The tall, rectangular shape of the Light Blue Eau Intense bottle has been redesigned with refined lines, resulting in a smaller cap. The velvet boxes take on a deeper shade of blue.

Narciso Rodriguez has extended the For Her fragrance collection with For Her Fleur Musc.

Created by Givaudan’s Sonia Constant and Calice Becker, the fragrance is a floral bouquet with top notes of pink peppercorn wrapped around the signature heart of musk, with a woody base of patchouli and amber notes.

“Fleur Musc represents a bold, passionate femininity; it’s a fragrance that evokes charm and grace,” the designer said.

The fragrance is housed in a bright pink bottle, a new colour for the fragrance collection. Rodriguez said: “The colour reveals the vibrant spirit of this pink floral scent. It’s a more brilliant shade of pink than our signature pink for a simple reason: it reflects the woman who wears it and defines the beautiful nature of Fleur Musc.”

Narciso Rodriguez For Her Fleur Musc, in 50ml and 100ml EDP, is available now in travel retail and recently featured in promotions at Dubai Duty Free.

Following the launch of Issey Miyake Pure Eau de Parfum in 2016, the brand has introduced a new Eau de Toilette in travel retail (50ml and 90ml).

The new scent, developed by Dominique Ropion, draws inspiration from water. For the first time, the fragrance’s aquatic accords are brightened by citrusy top notes of mandarin. Neroli essence combines with floral notes of rose and lily of the valley at the heart, while the base is a salty, musky blend of ambergris and cashmeran.

The new Eau de Toilette bottle retains the minimalist iteration of the original L’Eau d’Issey – with its slender, conical shape and silver cap – but in brushed glass.
