Travel retail-exclusive (TREX) products will serve as a key talking point with retailers for Whyte & Mackay at the 2026 TFWA Asia Pacific Exhibition & Conference in coming days (10-14 May).
Whyte & Mackay described TREXs as a key growth driver for the company’s diverse portfolio, which is anchored by a quartet of single malt whiskies, The Dalmore, Jura, Fettercairn and Tamnavulin.
In response to growing demand for rarity and differentiation, the Scotch whisky house has partnered with travel retailers to launch premium TREX collections such as The Dalmore Anthology and the Jura Islanders’ Series in key global locations.

This year Whyte & Mackay will introduce Year 3 of The Dalmore Portfolio Series TREX, alongside a new prestige range from the UK’s number one single malt brand, Jura.

“Shoppers are looking to discover travel-exclusive malt whiskies that offer exceptional value for money,” the company commented. “Single malt is a high-demand category in global travel retail (GTR) with shoppers demanding choice and unique finds.”

Between 2019 and 2024, Whyte & Mackay claims to have delivered the fastest value growth of any single malt producer among the top seven suppliers*, reinforcing its position as a driving force within the single malt category.
The single malt category has consistently outperformed the wider spirits sector over the past five years and is forecast to remain in growth in GTR, the company said.
Whyte & Mackay pledged to present a pipeline of new and innovative releases at the Singapore show, alongside the next phase of its dedicated category growth strategy. The focus will be on demonstrating the value of giving space to the malts category, and how to attract malt shoppers, boosting conversion.
The company is exhibiting in a new location at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre (Basement 2, Stand 2-V24). ✈
