‘SK-II Secret Key House’ exhibition in Tokyo set to celebrate World Pitera Month

For the first time, SK-II is revealing the secrets behind its exclusive Pitera ingredient at the SK-II Secret Key House exhibition in Tokyo

Global prestige skincare brand SK-II is set to unveil the ‘SK-II Secret Key House’, a multi-dimensional art exhibition which will showcase the secrets behind the brand’s exclusive skincare ingredient Pitera.

The exhibition will be open to the public with limited access  on 29-30 July at the Standby, Ba-Tsu Art Gallery in Tokyo, Japan. The Moodie Davitt Report will report on location from the event.

The exhibition follows the success of last year’s World Pitera Day event, a one-day global celebration of SK-II’s star ingredient. This year, SK-II is expanding the celebration during World Pitera Month, with SK-II Secret Key House the central focus.

SK-II’s best-selling Pitera formula has remained unchanged for 40 years, yet little is publicly known about the science that powers its efficacy. For the first time, the SK-II Secret Key House  will reveal ten of SK-II’s best kept beauty secrets.

Visitors can unlock the secrets by interacting with the different multi-sensorial artistic installations of Pitera throughout the exhibition space.

The secret to crystal clear skin: The Secret Key House will house ten Pitera secrets which can be unlocked by interacting with the exhibition. Stay tuned for our full on location report in coming weeks.

Commenting on the spectacular exhibition, Global SK-II CEO Sue Kyung Lee said: “Pitera has remained unchanged for over 40 years,  yet its miracles on skin continue to unfold and its secrets are endless. For the first time in SK-II’s history, we will be handing our consumers the keys to unlock the biggest, most closely guarded secrets behind SK-II and our famous Pitera.

“We hope to continue inspiring women to choose their skin destiny by embarking on their own journey to achieve crystal clear skin transformations with Pitera, the secret key.”

Some of SK-II’s most notable celebrity ambassadors will be visiting SK-II Secret Key House. They include Japanese actress Haruka Ayase, Chinese actresses Tang Wei and Qiu Tian and singer Mina of Korean pop group TWICE.

Ayase commented: “I am looking forward to unlocking new secrets about SK-II and Pitera at the SK-II Secret Key House. Secrets that, even after more than ten years with the brand, I still don’t know about. I’m always excited to discover more about Pitera and how it can make my skin crystal clear.”

Mina added: “I’m particularly eager about visiting the SK-II Secret Key House because it marks the first time that I’ll be meeting and interacting with Pitera fans in-person as SK-II’s ambassador. I can’t wait to share the story of my transformational skin journey – I might even reveal some secrets of my own.” ✈
