SmashBox Cosmetics wraps up new lash lines – 20/01/05

US. SmashBox Cosmetics is stepping up its presence in the eye make-up segment with That’s A Wrap Lash Defining Mascara, and That’s A Wrap Lash Kit.

Both will be launched from March.

The new mascara – so called because it literally “wraps” itself around lashes, leaving them fuller and thicker, according to the company – will be available in four shades.

These are Smashing Black, Smashing Brown, Smashing Teal and Smashing Burgundy.

All feature an innovative corkscrew brush for easier application. The recommended domestic price is US$18.

Two mini-versions of the mascara feature in SmashBox’s new That’s A Wrap Lash Kit (pictured).

This comprises a portable, black zip-up pouch containing two 4.3g That’s A Wrap mascaras (in black and teal); a 4g Layer Lash Primer; a compact lash curler; and a double-ended lash comb.

The kit will retail domestically at US$40.
