SSP strengthens Vilnius Airport portfolio with eight dining venues

LITHUANIA. Leading travel restaurateur SSP Group is expanding its food & beverage presence at Vilnius Airport with eight new outlets, introduced as part of the airport’s wider terminal redevelopment programme.

SSP, which has worked with Vilnius Airport since May 2025 and is the airport’s only international F&B operator, is introducing a mix of localised, bespoke and international concepts.

A tale of two Le Grand Comptoirs: SSP has tailored the complementary Sodai (above) and Vilnius Bar & Bistro (below) concepts to their respective locations and traveller profiles at Vilnius Airport

Two Le Grand Comptoir concepts place a strong emphasis on Lithuanian cuisine and a sense of place.

Sodai Le Grand Comptoir is a brasserie and bar offering a contemporary interpretation of Lithuanian food, including traditional-style soups, comfort dishes, local beverages and breakfast options.

Landside concept Vilnius Bar & Bistro Le Grand Comptoir offers all-day dining centred on Lithuanian flavours, ingredients and regional beverages alongside selected international dishes.

Factory Bar & Kitchen has been developed as a sports bar and social dining concept, built around draft beer, burgers and live sport.

Its menu includes fish & chips, sharing platters, wings, loaded fries, nachos and bar snacks. The drinks offer features beers from Lithuanian brewery Švyturys.

Burger King has also opened at the airport, offering its core range of flame-grilled burgers alongside chicken, plant-based choices, sides, snacks and beverages.

SSP is complementing the locally influenced concepts with three brands from its international portfolio.

Upper Crust offers freshly made baguettes assembled on-site alongside bakery products, coffee and cold beverages, while Camden Food Co. focuses on smoothies, salads, wraps, sandwiches, snacks and light meals.

Ritazza combines barista-made coffee with breakfast items, pastries and light snacks, as well as cold drinks, beers and other refreshments.

The eighth outlet, Bill Bentley, is scheduled to open in the airport’s non-Schengen area later this year. The bar will feature a broad selection of beers, wines and spirits supported by a compact menu of bar food and light bites.

SSP noted the overall portfolio has been shaped by passenger insights, travel patterns and dwell-time analysis.

The offer has been designed to address different dayparts and passenger requirements, ranging from breakfast for early departures and lighter options to more substantial F&B experiences for travellers with longer dwell times.

Lithuanian Airports Interim CEO Gintarė Norvilaitė-Tautevičė said, “Food & beverage is an important part of the overall airport experience, and these new openings significantly broaden the choice available across the terminal.

International concepts Camden Food Co. (above) and Ritazza (below) add further variety to SSP’s Vilnius Airport portfolio

“Our partnership with SSP allows us to bring proven international concepts to Vilnius Airport while ensuring the offer is adapted to the needs and expectations of our passengers.”

SSP Nordic & Baltics CEO Stian Lund said, “This new venture, with its distinctly Baltic flair, adds much cachet to our business in the region.

“As the Vilnius Airport terminal continues to evolve, we’ve focused on ensuring the food & beverage offer is well aligned to the new environment and the needs of passengers using it.

“The new F&B mix reflects that approach, bringing together local influence with our experience of operating in international travel locations.” ‍
