Upper Crust and Caffè Ritazza will add to the customer experience at Sheremetyevo, says SSP |
RUSSIA. SSP has opened Russia’s first Upper Crust and Caffè Ritazza outlets at Moscow Sheremetyevo International Airport Terminal Two. The two units are located in the newly refurbished Departures hall. The units are open 24 hours a day and will employ 20 staff. The contract runs for five years.
“We have been operating at Moscow since 1994, and we have a good understanding of the needs of Russian passengers. We know what products perform well in this market, and I am confident that these new units will be very popular,” said SSP Central Europe Division CEO Johann Weinzettl.
Over US$300 million has been invested in improvements to Sheremetyevo T2. Weinzettl said: “The big brand name is becoming increasingly popular in Russia, and there are now a number of well known brands at the airport. With their strong identities and high quality product ranges, Upper Crust and Caffè Ritazza will add to the customer experience at Sheremetyevo.”
Upper Crust currently operates in 11 countries. New units are planned to open soon at Larnaca Airport in Cyprus and Pittsburgh Airport in the US.
Caffè Ritazza is one of the fastest growing brands within the coffee bar sector, with more than 250 outlets in 30 countries worldwide. It has 61 outlets located at 40 international airports.
