SSP’s Kari Daniels and GMR’s Tarun Arora boost powerhouse FAB 2026 line-up; Early Bird deadline in 2 days

INDIA. SSP UK and Ireland, Netherlands CEO Kari Daniels and GMR Airports Chief Commercial Officer Tarun Arora are the latest high-profile additions to the stellar line-up for the upcoming Airport Food & Beverage (FAB) + Hospitality Conference & Awards.

Owned and organised by The Moodie Davitt Report, this year’s gathering will be hosted by Bangalore International Airport Limited in Bengaluru on 7-8 July.

With the 30 April deadline fast approaching, delegates have two days left to secure Early Bird rates for the event.

She draws on 30 years of multi-channel retail experience across food, general merchandise and clothing, with senior roles at global retailers and FTSE 100 FMCG brands.

This includes 20 years at Tesco, where she spent four years as CEO of Tesco Ireland, leading the business through COVID-19 and Brexit. Earlier in her career, she was Commercial Director at Superdrug and held marketing roles at SC Johnson, Wella and Arcadia.

She is also a board member of Cancer Research UK and Great Ormond Street Hospital.

GMR Airports Chief Commercial Officer Tarun Arora will explore what lies ahead for airport hospitality

Tarun Arora will join discussions on ‘Raising the Bar in Indian Airport Food & Beverage’, bringing over three decades of experience spanning retail, hospitality, duty free and consulting, alongside deep expertise in sales, marketing, operations and supply chain.

A 12-year veteran of GMR Group, he is currently Sector Chief Commercial Officer for Non-Aeronautical Businesses across its airport portfolio in India.

The initial line-up of distinguished speakers has been previously announced.

As reported, Alina Alam, Founder & CEO of Mitti Café in India, will deliver a keynote address. At the FAB event in Ontario, California in 2024, Alam and Bangalore International Airport Limited were awarded the FAB Humanitarian Award for their joint initiative in bringing Mitti Café to the airport world. She was also named one of The Moodie Davitt Report’s People of the Year for 2024.

Mitti Café is part of Mitti Social Services Foundation, an extraordinary social enterprise dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities by providing them with opportunities for economic independence and dignity.

Mitti Social Services Foundation creates employment by hiring and training team members in its cafés across airports and other public institutions. The first Mitti Café was opened at Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru, a breakthrough that has led to other airport openings, including more at the Bengaluru gateway.
