SOUTH KOREA. Incheon International Airport registered strong passenger traffic growth in September, maintaining the momentum for the year so far.
Total passenger numbers were up +7.3% year-on-year to 3.4 million, with a daily average of 114,595 passengers. Arrival numbers were up +9% to 1.7 million, while departure numbers were up +5.7% to 1.7 million.
The figures released by Incheon Airport Immigration & Customs exclude transfer passengers and domestic passengers.
Aircraft movement growth at the South Korean hub was up +3.3% to 22,440.
Passenger traffic for the first three quarters of 2013 was up +7.1% to 31.2 million, with arrival numbers up +7.3% to 15.7 million and departures up +6.9% to 15.6 million.
