USA. Paradies Lagardère-owned airport wine bar and retail chain Vino Volo has opened at Orlando International Airport.
The concept aims to offer travellers an experience of Orlando through an extensive wine selection that guests can purchase by the glass, flight or bottle to take with them. The restaurant can also ship bottles for customers.

Vino Volo’s menu features snacks, entrees and desserts designed to pair with the wine offered, including charcuterie boards with a variety of artisanal meats and cheeses. Entrees include Vino Volo’s signature salmon rolls, and burrata and roasted tomato salad. The dessert menu includes a three-layer chocolate mousse or key lime pie.
Paradies Lagardère said Vino Volo’s design is “clean and relaxing” and serves as a “calm respite for busy travellers”.

Vino Volo Senior Vice President Mark Sill said: “We’re excited to bring Vino Volo to travellers at Orlando International Airport. We have loyal fans around the globe, and maintain our position as the airport market leader in North America because of the knowledge, hospitality, and passion delivered by our wine associates and staff.
“Travellers will find a variety of superior quality wines, local blends, and wine flights and retail bottles for sale, as we’re the only airport wine bar to offer this. We offer unique experiences that allow guests to taste, learn and enjoy.”

Greater Orlando Aviation Authority Chief Executive Officer Phil Brown commented: “Orlando International Airport leaders strive to offer a variety of concessions that best serve the wide variety of travellers that come through our world-class facility.
“Vino Volo is the perfect complement to other offerings, giving our adult passengers a refined wine experience before taking off.”
