Tennent’s Gluten Free lager is being sold onboard P&O Ferries and Tallink Silija vessels |
Leading Scottish brewer Tennent’s has launched its latest edition, Tennent’s Gluten Free 5% lager, in travel retail.
The premium Scottish lager, handled by C&C Group International, has been listed by P&O Ferries and Tallink Silija, thought to be the first major operators to cater for gluten-intolerant beer drinkers.
“Gluten free is becoming more and more a topic for consumers as well as for operators, since the number of gluten-intolerant consumers is drastically increasing,” Tennent’s stated.
The distiller said P&O Ferries and Tallink Silija would offer the new Tennent’s edition across their fleets, along with gluten-free food offers.
Tennent’s Gluten Free is described as golden, with a light sparkle, and offers a full-bodied taste.
