AUSTRALIA. Melbourne-based family-owned gourmet chocolatier The Chocolate Box is celebrating World Chocolate Day (7 July) with complimentary tastings across its airport stores in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Adelaide.

The activation will showcase the company’s exclusive Small Batch Chocolate Blocks, handcrafted in Melbourne by French artisan chocolatier Laure using premium Belgian couverture chocolate and locally sourced ingredients to deliver a distinctive blend of quality, flavour and craftsmanship.

Since joining The Chocolate Box portfolio in 2024, the range has rapidly become one of the brand’s bestsellers and has expanded to feature artisan flavours including Meringue & Raspberry, Dark Ginger, Salted Caramel, White Pistachio, Hazelnut & Wafer, Dark Red Gum Honeycomb and Dark Peppermint.

The Chocolate Box Owner and Chief Chocolatier Paul Ryan said, “World Chocolate Day is the perfect opportunity to celebrate not only great chocolate, but also the artisans and craftsmanship behind it.

“Our exclusive Small Batch Collection showcases exceptional quality, creativity and flavour, and we’re excited to welcome customers into our stores to sample a selection of these unique artisan chocolates.”

In addition to the core range, Laure develops limited-edition seasonal creations, including the popular Lychee Block for Lunar New Year and the ANZAC Crunch Block, celebrating the ANZAC spirit while bringing a sense of discovery and exclusivity to the collection.

The collection is offered in 45g and 95g formats, presented in striking, contemporary packaging that enhances their appeal as both gifts and personal treats.

The assortment ranges from 55% and intense 80% dark chocolate to more distinctive offerings such as Ruby Chocolate and Matcha with White Chocolate.

Ryan added: “There’s no better excuse to indulge than World Chocolate Day. It’s all about discovering your next favourite chocolate and enjoying -20% off storewide as we celebrate the sweetest day of the year.”
