The Glen Grant 30 Year Old lands at Kuala Lumpur Airport for global travel retail debut with Eraman

Campari GTR extends The Glen Grant story across Asia Pacific, with the 30 Year Old taking centre stage at Kuala Lumpur International Airport

MALAYSIA. Campari Group Global Travel Retail (GTR) has partnered with Eraman for the global travel retail debut of The Glen Grant 30 Year Old at Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

Following the August debut of The Glen Grant Exploration Series No.1 at the travel hub, the pop-up transitioned to feature the 30 Year Old as the hero across Asia Pacific travel retail, with an immersive experience at Zone C.

The 36sq m space, strategically placed along the main passenger flow after immigration, reflects the brand’s rising momentum in Malaysian travel retail, currently seventh in the single malt category, according to Eraman.

Running throughout September, the activation is inspired by the distillery’s famed Victorian Glasshouse in Rothes, offering a multi-sensory experience across three key touchpoints, the front counter, backwall and central podium.

Evoking the refined character of the liquid, the display recreates the moonlit Glasshouse, with copper botanicals and water ripples around the bottle.

The experience includes interactive touchpoints, guided tastings by brand ambassadors and a photo opportunity at a lush, green-branded wall.

The activation also includes a limited-edition personalised luggage tag with select bottle purchases.

Aged 30 years in the distillery’s stone dunnage warehouse, The Glen Grant 30 Year Old is crafted from hand-selected ex-bourbon and oloroso sherry casks, blended in small batches for its distinctive profile.

This 48% ABV single malt is non-chill filtered and joins the permanent range, available in limited quantities across global travel retail.

It opens with nectarine, honey and dried fruit, followed by a creamy, demerara-sweet palate and a smooth, fruity finish.

Housed in a collector’s decanter and premium box with the brand’s floral emblem, this release completes The Glen Grant Glasshouse Collection, inspired by James ‘The Major’ Grant and his Victorian glasshouse.

These include the 21 Year Old, 25 Year Old and 30 Year Old whiskies.

Campari Group Global Travel Retail Marketing and Channel and Customer Marketing Director  Biancamaria Sansone said, “The Glen Grant 30 Year Old is an exceptional addition to our single malt portfolio, and we are proud to unveil it in such a high-profile location with Eraman.

“This launch reflects our continued investment in the travel retail channel as a vital platform for premium storytelling and rare product discovery. With growing demand for aged expressions and collectible quality across Asia Pacific, we see this debut as a defining moment in expanding The Glen Grant’s prestige portfolio in the region.”

The launch reflects Kuala Lumpur International Airport’s resurgence, which broke its pre-pandemic international traffic record in January 2025 and registered over 56 million passengers in 2024, making it Malaysia’s largest and busiest airport.

KLIA Aeropolis developments are boosting the airport’s role as a regional hub and luxury retail venue, providing a platform for launches such as The Glen Grant 30 Year Old.

Malaysia Airports Senior Manager Merchandising (Travel Retail) Mathialagan Maniam said, “As the exclusive preview partner for the global travel retail launch of The Glen Grant 30 Year Old, this activation reflects our shared ambition with Campari Group to continually elevate the travel retail experience through bold, differentiated offerings.

“KLIA remains a powerful stage for high-impact launches, and this milestone strengthens our ambition to curate differentiated experiences that drive both brand visibility and commercial value.”
