Pernod Ricard Asia Travel Retail has opened a dedicated concourse space for single malt Scotch whisky The Glenlivet at Taiwan Taoyuan Airport. The big pop-up area is intended to highlight the brand’s Scottish heritage.
The space is inspired by The Guardian’s Library at The Glenlivet distillery and features three zones: a travel retail exclusive zone where passengers can sample The Glenlivet Master Distiller’s Reserve; a lifestyle zone where they can play snooker and potentially win one of only 3,350 bottles of The Glenlivet Alpha; and a prestige zone showcasing the brand’s 18yo, 21yo Archive and 25yo expressions.
Pernod Ricard Asia Travel Retail Brand Manager Kim Tse said: “The exceptional large-scale brand space allows us to engage with travellers and whisky enthusiasts in a luxurious setting that brings them back to the Scottish origins of The Glenlivet. We are proud to launch this pop-up space in Taiwan airport, bringing a unique brand experience to this sophisticated malt whisky market.”
The boutique was opened in January and will run until the end of March near Gate C6 in Terminal Two.
