The Jelly Bean Factory focuses on gifting for travel retail

IRELAND. Aran Candy, a Dublin-based producer of natural gourmet jelly beans under The Jelly Bean Factory brand, is returning to the TFWA World Exhibition this year with a number of new gift concepts for travel retail (Stand number: Bord Bia, Mediterranean Village N17).

The 75g Fairtrade Box uses fair-trade sugar in support of developing countries and and comes in four varieties: 36 Flavour mix, Berry Burst mix, Fruit Cocktail mix and Tropical Bonanza mix. Suggested retail sale price (RSP): €1.19.

The 225g Folding Box is a high quality stand up box containing a 225g bag of gourmet jelly beans. It is available in four varieties: 36 Flavour mix, Berry Burst mix, Fruit Cocktail mix and Tropical Bonanza mix. Suggested RSP: €3.49.

The 300g Bean Bank is a novelty bean-shaped tin with hinged lid and little lock and key and contains a 300g bag. Suggested RSP: €5.99.

The 325g Square to Round Tube is exclusive to travel retail. Suggested RSP: €4.99.

The Jelly Bean Factory 500g Gift Box is packed by hand with 12 flavours in individual compartments. The embossed box is specially designed for the travel retail and gift sector. Suggested RSP: €11.99.

The Jelly Bean Factory range of gourmet jelly beans are exported to over 50 countries worldwide, with the UK the leading market, followed by mainland Europe, the Middle East, Australia and Canada. New opportunities are also now opening up in the US, the company said.

Travel retail distribution for the brand is growing steadily with listings now across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, including Barcelona, Dublin, Dubai, Kuwait, and Singapore Changi airports.

The brand is listed inflight with Ryanair, Aer Lingus, British Airways, EasyJet, Virgin and Emirates, while ferry listings include Stena Line and Irish Ferries. Aelia, Eurodis, and Pourshins (Gate Gourmet Group) are also customers.
