The Moodie Davitt Report x Globuy: The latest releases from Shiseido, Clarins, Decorté, Clinique, and La Mer

As part of our pioneering information-sharing agreement with leading Chinese consumer platform Globuy, a selection of our stories with key Moodie Davitt brand partners appears on Globuy’s weekly Duty Free News Flash column.

Globuy aims to become “the KOL of Chinese travel retail” and already has 400,000 followers and a monthly audience of 1 million views for its WeChat social media platform promoting new launches, product availability, promotions and special offers. As a Preferred Media Partner, Globuy will be in attendance at the inaugural Moodie Davitt Virtual Travel Retail Expo in September, bringing news from all exhibitors to its vast Chinese readership.

This week, Globuy dedicated its Duty Free News Flash to sharing the latest releases, packaging and pricing updates from some of the most popular tax-free beauty brands on its platform. It began with a review of Shiseido Travel Retail’s new spring lineup featuring Anessa, Shiseido, and IPSA.

Globuy reviewed Anessa’s best-selling Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Milk, which has been infused with Triple Defense Technology. As reported, the new formula combines the brand’s Thermo booster technology, which strengthens UV protection with heat; and Aqua Booster EX Technology, which strengthens UV protection in contact with water or sweat.

Sun protection brand Anessa has revamped its entire beauty sunscreen range. This includes the Perfect UV Sunscreen Skincare Series, the Whitening Series, the BB Series, and the Spray Series.

Globuy also reviewed the relaunched White Lucent Illuminating Micro-Spot Serum from Shiseido. As reported, the new serum has been reformulated with ReNeura Technology+ and a new Sakura-Bright System. The serum promotes brighter-looking skin by targeting uneven skin tones, dullness, and dark spots caused by sun exposure.

It continued with a review of Ipsa’s Luminizing Clay. The dual-function clay has been infused with sea mud that removes excess sebum, while simultaneously hydrating and plumping the skin with Sodium Acetylated Hyaluronate.

Globuy also reviewed the latest releases from Decorté with a special emphasis on the Decorté Sun Shelter Multi-Protection Sunscreen and the Decorté Sun Shelter Tone Up CC Cream. It also reviewed the latest serums released by Clinique and Clarins.

According to Globuy, Clinique’s Even Better Clinical Radical Dark Spot Corrector has been updated with a ‘laser bottle’ design; while the acclaimed Clarins Bright Plus Advanced Brightening Dark Spot-Targeting Serum has been updated with oxygen-retaining technology that prevents skin dullness.

Globuy concluded this week’s news flash with a review of La Mer ‘The New Eye Concentrate.’ As reported, the renewed formula features a triple infusion of the Concentrated Miracle Broth that soothes, hydrates and energises the eye area. It also features the brand’s renewing Miracle Broth, and time-release Encapsulated Miracle Broth.
