The Moodie Report e-Zine: November 10 issue live and online now

INTERNATIONAL. The Moodie Report e-Zine is published today, featuring the week’s top news stories plus comment, analysis and data in multimedia format.

The November 10 issue of the weekly publication features analysis of Dufry’s first significant move in the Indian travel retail market, where the operator is to open a series of Hudson News Cafés in the Delhi metro system in partnership with influential local player InterGlobe.

A lucrative railway retail opportunity has also emerged in Hong Kong, where network operator MTR has requested expressions of interest in the duty free concession at Hung Hom and Lo Wu stations. This and other major news stories all feature in this week’s e-Zine.

Our main feature this week looks in detail at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s second attempt to tender speciality, F&B and duty free concessions at the world’s biggest airport by total traffic. And in Data Room we analyse the latest passenger traffic figures from IATA and ACI Europe, two trade bodies viewing the short term prospects of the travel industry with caution.

As always, look out for our regular features such as The Front Line, which this week profiles one of LS travel retail ASPAC’s star performers at Relay in HKIA’s East Hall. Site Lines compares and contrasts the online shopping offers of Bahrain Duty Free and Argentina’s InterBaires. And our Never Hide interview features Aelia France Operations Director Pascal le Droff, a familiar face in the French airport retail business.

We hope you enjoy The Moodie Report e-Zine and look forward to your feedback.
