The Moodie Report unveils new divisions; promotes Mann and Genest

INTERNATIONAL. The Moodie Report is proud to announce a new divisional structure and branding identity as well as two key management promotions.

Besides our core digital and print titles, under The Moodie Report, Moodie Report China and Foodie Report banners, the company has created five other sub-brands.

These are Moodie Research (embracing the Airport Commercial Revenues Study and a wide range of new research projects and activities); Moodie Events (The Trinity Forum, The Food & Beverage/FAB Conference & Awards, The Moodies Digital & Social Media Awards and our charity events); Moodie Corporate (our fast-growing client publication division); and, excitingly, Moodie Consumer – a new business-to-consumer arm which will include our soon to be launched airport review service, Airpinion.com, a new “˜Only in Duty Free’ (dedicated to travel retail exclusives) blog which launches this week, and other planned initiatives.

The Moodie Report Founder & Chairman Martin Moodie said: “Each sub-brand will be synonymous with the innovation that has long been our hallmark; each will get a dedicated focus to allow them to flourish. As we embark on our second decade, we’re determined to take our success story and the quality of our service to a whole new level.”

Moodie Research is led by Research Manager Victoria Bowskill; Moodie Events by Events Manager Joanna Puckett; and Moodie Corporate by Senior Editor Peter Dowling. Within Moodie Consumer, Senior Reporter (and Deputy Editor e-Zines) Rahul Odedra takes charge of “˜Only in Duty Free’ while Executive Director – Business Development & Innovation Matt Willey will lead the key Airpinion project.

In other news, Rebecca Mann and Sarah Genest join the company’s senior management team as Executive Director – Editorial, and Vice President Sales & Events, respectively.

Martin Moodie said: “Rebecca has been with The Moodie Report since its early days – joining in May 2003 – and is hugely respected both internally and within the industry as a highly capable journalist and editor. She’s also a great ambassador for our company. Her new role will include working closely with Vice Chairman Dermot Davitt in driving our print titles, which have consolidated their market leadership this year, and for which we plan several further initiatives.

“Sarah is charged with driving our sales and sponsorship efforts across media and events. It’s a thoroughly deserved promotion for one of our most capable, committed and hard-working team members. Thanks to Sarah and her great colleagues on the sales team, The Moodie Report is enjoying a record year across its various publishing formats. She and the team will help us take existing titles and forthcoming launches to new heights.”
