Tie Rack makes its return to Stuttgart Airport in Germany with a dedicated new store |
GERMANY. Tie Rack has opened a new outlet at Stuttgart Airport, located between Terminals 1 and 3 airside. The store offers a range of ties, scarves, shawls and other accessories from the core Tie Rack range. Tie Rack was previously listed at Stuttgart Airport, and makes its return with this dedicated store.
Stuttgart Airport Property Division Head Thomas Stonjeck said the company had made a major effort to broaden the commercial offer for passengers in recent years. He said the airport had experienced trading up among many consumers, which has led to rising transaction values despite a fall in passenger numbers.
Stuttgart Airport Centre Management executive Susanne Maier said the opening underlined the airport’s determination to offer new experiences for its customers. The airport houses 100 shops, travel agencies and other services – with more investment in commercial activities planned for this year, she added.
